On July 1, 2016, Drug Free DeSoto Coalition partnered to be the official sponsor and fiscal agent of Project Graduation. Project Graduation is a program that is organized by community members that offers, adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities as part of a post-graduation party, as an alternative to student-run events involving alcoholic beverages or other drugs.

With the help of businesses and individuals in the community, throughout the night the graduating seniors play games, win prizes, dance, and enjoy food until 3:00am the next morning. And because of this event students have and leave DHS with a positive attitude toward their school and the community.
